JERUSALEM / WASHINGTON — General Michael Kurilla, head of U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), issued a sobering assessment Thursday, stating that while the ongoing regional conflict has “massively reduced” Iran’s conventional military capabilities, the Islamic Republic maintains a persistent and lethal “ability to strike.”
Despite significant degradation of its proxy networks and missile stockpiles, Kurilla warned that Tehran remains a “wounded but dangerous” actor, capable of asymmetric warfare that continues to threaten the stability of the “Covenant Land” and its surrounding borders.
The Prophetic Lens: The Wounded Beast of the East
From a Historical and Physical perspective, this military degradation mirrors the Roman campaigns against the Parthian Empire, where the “King of the North” would repeatedly strike and weaken the Eastern powers, yet never fully extinguish their ability to harass the frontiers.

The current “reduction” of Iran may simply be the pruning of the vine before a final, more intense “storming” occurs at the appointed time.

Under Legal and Covenantal analysis, Iran’s persistent aggression despite military failure represents a total Spiritual Forfeiture.
